The sign-up form asks for your name, e-mail address and country. We store them in our customer database and use them to tell you when The StoryLight launches and, after that, to send you occasional news about The StoryLight: new chapters, designs and offers. Every letter carries a link that stops them in one click.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR: your consent, given by ticking the email consent checkbox and subscribing. We record your consent with your submission in HubSpot. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us.

With your consent, the site also records visitor statistics with Google Analytics and measures our Google Ads campaigns: which pages were viewed, which campaign or ad brought the visitor here, and whether a sign-up followed. Google may use this to attribute the visit to an ad you saw and to tailor its advertising. No name, e-mail address or form content is ever sent to Google.

Without your consent, Google sets no cookies and cannot recognise you across pages or visits. The site still sends Google a cookieless signal for each page view and sign-up, with ad-click identifiers removed, so we can count visits and estimate campaign results in aggregate. This relies on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site and our advertising perform; you can object to it at any time (see "Your rights").

Submissions are kept for 24 months after our last contact, then deleted from the customer database. Statistics are held for 36 months. If you ask us to erase your details earlier, we do it within 5 working days.

Your details are processed with HubSpot, our customer database provider, which hosts the records outside the EU in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses. Visitor statistics and ad measurement are processed by Google, also in the United States. This site is hosted on Akamai Cloud in the EU.

We never sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

The site keeps two small records in your browser itself, and only loads measurement cookies after you accept:

• your cookie choice, stored for 180 days, so the banner does not ask again on every visit;
• the campaign that brought you here, kept for the length of your visit;
• measurement and advertising cookies from Google, only after you accept.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the button below — it has the same effect as the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, have it corrected, have it erased, or ask us to stop processing it. You can also take your data with you in a machine-readable format, and object to any processing based on our legitimate interest.

Write to info@infonity.eu and we will answer within one month. If you think we handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), or to the supervisory authority of the country where you live.

No decision about you is made by a machine here. Your data is not used for profiling.
